McGlamry's "Foot and Ankle Surgery" text is very good. Netter's " Concise Atlas of Orthopedic Anatomy" is wonderful. The Podiatry Institute and Goldfarb board reviews are good too. For other links and discussion go to Facebook "Podiatry Boards" site. Dwight L. Bates, DPM, DABPS

I thought it better to reply to this old yarn than to start a new one. Warning: I recently purchase a new Goldfarb Board manual to replace my old one from the 1996. The old one was fine. The new one was clearly never read even once by the so-called editors. There are glaring typos and misinformation on nearly every page! On some pages in the biomechanics section there are as much as 5 typos. 5 typos on one page tells me they never even looked at it before publishing. BTW- I asked for a new and improved replacement (or $ back), and they said sure. Never came, I called them they denied ever speaking to me. Dont buy this manual unless its been rewritten.
