    All,

I'm trying to source an ankle brace (for prevention of lateral ankle sprain and re-fracture) for an 8-year-old girl with size 13-1 feet.

She has fractured her right ankle twice in the last 8 months secondary to inversion sprain and cannot be re-x-rayed, despite being out of cast due to radiation guidelines (according to her mother).

Does anyone know of such a brace? She is a very active and sporty child, so something relatively less rigid would be my preference (although rigid would do if all else fails).

Thanks for any help anyone might be able to give!

Where are you? I can only advise UK/Ireland.

In the UK - you would hear my annoying Lancastrian accent if you were talking to me!

Thanks for the info LCBL - though I'm a little confused.....I am merely trying to source an off-the-shelf ankle brace (not AFO, not custom-made) in order to keep her safe until she can be re-x-rayed.

I'm not sure why you think I would want to send her to someone else??

    Can you elaborate?

Sorry m8 for not being clear. This guy is, by far, the most up to date guy in the UK for your needs. Speak to him.
