Attend 'Yale-King's vascular symposium'

Location: Gainsford lecture theatre, King's College Hospital, London.

This collaborative symposium between King?s Health Partners and Yale University School of Medicine is free to attend and will put forward state of the art, cutting edge management of the diabetic foot with vascular complications from both sides of the Atlantic.

The following aspects will be covered:

Modern diagnosis of the ischaemic foot including the role of imaging.
Vascular intervention: the roles of endovascular treatment and open vascular surgery.
Treatment of the infected ischaemic foot, including the best antibiotic options.
The management of tissue loss in the ischaemic foot, exploring bony coverage and wound coverage.
The role of the interdisciplinary foot team.
The format will be in the form of quick-fire presentations and clinical case studies with round table discussion throughout the day.
This event is open to all professions/members of the multi-disciplinary team who are involved in the care and management of the diabetic patient.
