I was wondering what the views were on prontosan, we have just recently started using the product in the department I work to cleanse sloughy wounds and the results have been excellent.
We use Prontosan solution and gel on a daily basis within our busy acute services podiatry dept and have amazing results. The build up of biofilms on wounds can delay wound healing with recurring infection, renewal of slough on previously dedrided wounds at a huge cost to both providers of care and patients.
