Beets & the juice thereof are great... but if you're not so keen on eating/drinking these on a regular basis, there are an increasing number of Nitric Oxide supplements on the market now. Particularly a good idea (putting aside the above cited benefits i.e. Raynaud's, muscle contraction) the older you get (N.O declines with age i.e. from 30s onwards)… & if you aren't active (sedentary lifestyle leads to less N.O production - hence, keep exercising)… or if you aren't eating a healthy diet (i.e. not eating a good variety of plant foods). N.O has a vast array of benefits for the body, particularly cardiovascular... which then has its tentacles in various functions of the body (i.e. that will benefit from increased blood flow). These N.O supplements may have added benefits within their formula such as L-citrulline (an amino acid which help boost N.O levels).
