    Hello everyone,
I 've been getting a lot of calls from my Pts about bunion Tx with Botox injections.
Does anybody have any info ? Is this FDA approved?

    Thank you all

welcome to Podiarty Arena, Irina. Where do you come from. If you add this and a flag there are times you will get answers specific to your area.
I have not had any similiar queries. What is the Botox injection supposed to do to the bunion?
I recommend that you ask again under teh general forums.
Not everyone reads the introductions but colleagues can at times come back to your introduction to see how you are.

    Cheers

Hi Ray, I believe botox is used as a cushioning, replacing the fat pad on the mtpj, which is pulled, out of place or atrophies, during a lifetime of abnormal pronation. chris
