I have been using an instrument washer to clean & dry my instruments however it has decided to die. My options are:

1) purchase a new one (pros - basically you put the instruments in & they come out well cleaned & dry & just need to pack, cons - expensive too buy a new one)

2) purchase an ultrasonic cleaner (pros - clean instruments well, cheaper than an instrument washer, cons - slightly more work in manually drying instruments)

3) clean instruments manually (pros - cheapest option, cons - increased time in cleaning)

Anyone have opinions on what they either use/like in cleaning instruments or opinions on instrument washers & u/s cleaners?

I use an ultrasonic cleanser, rinse off fluid with boiled water, therefore instruments dry virtually instantly by evaporation before sterilizing. works fine for me.
