    Hi everyone,

My name is Wayne, I'm the lead Podiatrist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane.

We'd like to share with you a series of pathways that we've created to help Health Professionals, GPs, and Emergency Departments to manage patients with diabetes and lower limb complications.

Please look at our website for the pathways and further information.

    http://www.health.qld.gov.au/pahospital/services/diabetic-foot-pathways.asp

I'd be very happy to hear/read your comments on how we can improve them.

If you have a patient with a foot ulcer, please utilise the pathways to engage their GP to refer them to a High Risk Foot Service in your area.

All patients in the Brisbane Metro South District should go to the Princess Alexandra Hospital.

You can always contact me via the website for support or to locate your nearest Qld High Risk Foot Service.

    thank you

    Wayne
