Dear Branch Secretary ,
I have been asked on behalf of the Society of Chiropodists & Podiatrists, Directorate of Private Practice to organise and run a one day intensive update for general podiatry practitioners on diabetes. I would be grateful if you could pass the attached leaflet to members of your branch.
The Committee felt that knowledge of diabetes varies considerably and that local referral procedures can be confusing.
The purpose of the day is to bring practitioners up to date with current thinking. The cost shown in Podiatry now is incorrect the actual cost is £100 or if you have an accredited practice £80.
The team will be made up of Alistair McInnes (Editor of the Diabetic Foot), Laurie King (Specilaist Diabetic Podiatrist Oxford), Jill Cundell (Belfast university) and we are waiting for confirmation on Prof. Mike Edmonds (Kings College Hospital).
