Recently a patient of mine, who is a retired SRCh Chiropodist, decided to offer me all his outdated stock that had been in his garage for years.

I accepted it and found that there were some useful items, such as beaver blades and some clippers that look in pretty good nick. Unfortunately in his old hide-bound visiting case were a selection of brown glass pots containing 75% sal acid, Whitfields ointment from 2001 and even some monochlorocetic acid.

How do I safely and legally dispose of these? Would the local pharmacy help me?

    Thanks

    HI
I have had this problem in the past.My local pharmacist is always more than happy to take these items from me and dispose of them free of charge.
