A year and a half ago I began getting pain in the ball of my foot and sometimes a weird feeling in my big toe on both feet. I went to the podiatrist who over the course of 8 months gave me 2 cortisone injections, which helped for a short period of time. I continued on with my normal activities, which general require a lot of running and jumping. About 4 months ago the ball of my foot was hurting along with every single toe on both feet and there was noticeable swelling. It felt like i was walking on glass/knives etc. this pain also happened in the arch of my foot. That pain has subsided, but I still have pain in the ball of my foot. I also i have a weird crumpled up sock feeling in between the third and 4th toe on my right foot. I went to an orthopedic surgeon who specializes in feet. He had me take an MRI of my right foot. The MRI came back completely normal saying i have no neuroma. The Dr. did a cortisone injection near my heel by the Plantar fasciit. He also suggested doing physical therapy, which I have started they are working on areas by my calves to relieve pain in my feet.

My question is it seems like I am having symptoms of Mortons Neuroma, but the MRI says my foot is fine. What is going on with my feet?
