How changing the inversion/eversion foot angle affects the nondriving intersegmental knee moments and the relative activation of the vastii muscles in cycling. J Biomech Eng. 2006 Jun;128(3):391-8
I live in Belgium I am a student in 3rd year of podiatry. I'm doing an experimentation on 15 triathlete, I whant to see the effect of two different pair of orthoses on the lower limb alignement (video analysis) and the effect on the muscles activity with EMG while cycling.
The subjects must have more than 10° varus MTJ and do more than 5hours of cycling per week.
The two pairs of orthoses are made from cad cam, one in a neutral position
and the other with + 50% of correction.
Videoanalysis with Dart Fish.
I have some sientific articles on cycling and podiatry but I will like to get some more and the two articles cited in this forum seems to be very interessant. I don't have access to pubmed if some one could send me those articles on valery.defalbaire@gmail.com
if you have any questions or informations who can help me it would be very appreciated.
