I can't believe it's taken me this long to hook up to Podiatry Arena?! As i'm on maternity leave, i now have a great opportunity to tap into many of your interesting foot debates. I've already found great solutions to my own foot problems..(namely Peroneal Overuse symptoms). Thanks to Kevin Kirby and Craig pain, the STJ axis location theory makes a whole lot of sense on how to treat and tackle patients with this problem. Hopefully, the word spreads, we need to be thinking outside the square of the 'ol Root et al system!! and not be afraid to use rearfoot and forefoot valgus posts in patients with this type of axes.
