Long story short I fell in a ditch ended up at the emergency room and told i had a fracture of the 5th metatarsal. Er dr mentioned jones fracture. Later that week i went to see 2 speciliasts who both said this isn’t a jones fracture but I came very close to that area. They gave me a boot to my knee and told me to not bear any weight for 4 weeks and to come back for an x Ray then. They also said this injury takes 6-8 weeks and it is not an avulsion fracture either. So my question is what type...
