    Hi there.
Does anyone have any experience with RSscan (footscan) offered by Rightstride? How reliable is it? The question was raised as they produce orthotics from the image taken by the scanner and some specifications like an arch height, etc. are calculated by software (without taking a plaster-cast or a foam-box imprint).
    Thank you

    Hi,

Reliable, yes - in that they can produce an orthotic of sorts.

Basically though, it's a short-cut, and not a system I'd like to use to capture data for orthotics manufacture..
I believe it works by choosing "best-fit" from a number of pre-form models, rather than giving a true foot impression.

Do a search on here for more info.
