    I have an old Cryo Jem liquid nitrogen applicator-the thread where the probes screw in has broken-does anyone know where it could be repaired? thanks, peter mccloskey

    Hi Peter...

    You could do it yourself with a Heli-coil (or similar brand kit) or get a local fabrication workshop or motor vehicle workshop to get their 'Heli-coil Man' to do it!

    Something like this kit on Ebay would deal with anything M5-M12.

    If you can't find anyone.. My local fabricating workshop B and G Machining can certainly help and would supply and fit the helicoils.

    hard to tell from your picture, exactly what needs to be done, but if you buy a small tap & die set you can probably fix it yourself
