This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Podiatrist to join the renowned High Risk Foot Service at Liverpool Hospital. The Service provides a multidisciplinary team approach with the aim of limb salvage. This is a full time, permanent position. Liverpool Hospital is a leading trauma facility within Australia. A recent refurbishment has seen an increase in bed capacity to 855 beds. The new refurbishment also ensures top class facilities for employees including a state of the art staff gym.

The foot clinic has 8 treatment rooms and is housed within Ambulatory Care with access to pathology, radiology, Vascular Surgery, Infectious disease and endocrinology. Additionally the department has invetsed heavily in technology including Pedar in-shoe plantar pressure system, 3D wound imaging camera, apple IPADS.

This opportunity will provide the right candidate an environment to excel their clinical skills and enhance their research capacity. The high risk foot service has a dedicated research arm and sits within the newly formed Liverpool Diabetes Collaborative Research Unit (LIV DIAB CRU) housed within the Inghams Institute Of Applied Medical Research.
