Anyone heard of this before?

Had 2 patients in 2 days that have been told (assume by the consultant) not to use Loceryl nail lacquer as it may damage their kidneys, both these pt's were also on methotrexate.

I can't find any relevant contraindications or interactions so wondering if they have misunderstood and were thinking of the systemic treatment?

Strange to get 2 in 2 days though!
