    Hi All,
Has anyone had an audit from medicare for EPC?

What do you do with referrals that do not have a proper or complete care plan attached?

    Hi Trevor,

We were audited in 2011 and needed only provide a copy of the GP-signed EPC form, specifying referral date and number of allocated services. We did not need to provide copies of the 721/723.

One would think that having to provide this info as well would be superfluous, even for Medicare.

    Good luck with it all!

    Thanks for that.

I would have thought that a copy of the plan would be required as GP gets some $250 for it and the podiatrist and the patient are required to sign it.

Seems that I do not need to be concerned.
