Footscape invites expressions of interest from podiatrists wishing to volunteer for a two week expedition to Nauru during July 2014.

As a non-profit organisation recognising marginalised communities are predisposed to debilitating foot pathology Footscape is actively implementing strategies in the Pacific Island country to advance diabetic foot care. The Podiatrist will travel with our partnering Equatorial Opportunities medical team and work alongside Nauru Hospital staff to provide clinical expertise and professional development. Podiatrists should bring a passion for diabetes and wound management, enjoyment working with culturally diverse populations and an adventurous spirit.

For further information please contact Anthony Lewis, Footscape, anthonylewis@footscape.com.au or Sue Barker, Equatorial Opportunities, suzanbarker@optusnet.com.au.
