Needling has received a lot of publicity recently and I suspect that a lot of pods will be wanting to take it up.

Needling often involves tib post/saphenous/sural nerve blocks.

Will these pods have to do these injections under supervision, in order to prove a competence to do so for HCPC/insurance purposes?

I did an advanced LA course a few years ago!

    Hi Simon

No you don't have to do these under supervision provided that you can prove safety and competency. However, updates are always useful and you should check through your professional body that your insurance will cover you for these techniques.

    All the best
