    Hi
I was interested in what peoples experiences were in treating verrucas by needling or surgery. I have done a few needling procedures, with 2 failures and 1 success. normally I would refer patients for electro surgery for verrucas to a podiatric surgeon, but can podiatrists ( with sufficient training do electro surgery to remove verrucas?
    Regards
    Bonnie

I am very out of date here - I gave up practice in 1979. However, in the four years previous to this "hyfrecation" (AKA electro surgery?) was my routine choice of treatment. I was very happy with it with very high success rates; however I eventually came to the conclusion that routine treatment of plantar warts was unnecessary. I have no knowledge of needling.
