I was looking at a patient and thought ,Blimey they have a long 5th Met , out came the tape measure and I found the "long " one was 9cm and the "short" one was 7cm .Before i start measuring every patients 5th met ,is this unusual?

Was it a very unusual met parabola? Were the two feet of significantly different size generally? Tom

It wasnt and the one with the long met was a slightly smaler foot .I just wonder if I should keep an eye out for this , it is not something I compare routinely
