    I have a 2cm longitudinal split tear of my peroneal brevis tendon diagnosed via MRI. The split is right where my pain is behind/below my ankle. The pain is worse after activity but does improve with rest. I've tried the boot for 6 weeks. It was better for about 3 months and then the pain started coming back. What is the next step? Is surgery necessary? I am in my mid 30's ....if I choose to live with the pain for awhile what is the likelihood of making it worse? Just weighing the pros and...
