    Hi all

I was wondering whether anyone had any experience of using plantar pressure software to assess forefoot striking runners. The software I'm using is attempting to mask the pressure pattern as if it were a heel strike, regardless of whether I select the "forefoot strike" or "rearfoot strike" button prior to collecting data. Other than going in on each individual trial and reassigning the foot areas does anyone have any advice on dealing with this issue?

    Many thanks in advance.

  2. Turn off the mask?

RSScan software works well for this, seems to collect relevant areas regardless of foot strike pattern.

It also has a button/function to select what type of strike is coming.
