I am a registered nurse, interested in the problem of intractable posterior tibial tendon dysfunction. Any thoughts on modes of treatment after use of the boot for 6 weeks?

The most success I have had long term with pttd is the use of an aggressive orthotic device in medially supported footwear. This is generally after/during the use of physical therapies. Stretching, massage, dry needling, strapping. Foot strengthening exercises.

Thanks for your input. As I have done further research, the multi-pronged approach you endorse seems like the way forward.
