Rheumatologists the happiest of all medical specialists

The Medscape survey of nearly 30,000 American specialists asked respondents to rate their happiness with their lives outside of work on a scale of 1 to 5.

Of the 25 specialties surveyed, rheumatologists came out on top, reporting an average score of 4.09. Three quarters said their happiness was either a four or five.

And Gastroenterologists came last. Not a surprise. Its a S**t job.
