Hello, and thank you for allowing me to register with this group. I realize that I am not a DPM, but as a chiropractor with an additional post graduate degree (chiropractic sports medicine), I am consistently presented with cases that involve the lower extremity. Sometimes patients seek me out for treatment specifically for a foot problem, e.g. plantar fascitis or achilles tendinosis. Often, because of my lack of training in foot/ankle biomechanics and my desire to better understand pathology in this arena, I desire consulting other doctors as well as forming referral relationships with them. I hope that this podiatric community affords me that opportunity.

    Thank you,

    Scott F. Gillman, DC, DACBSP

Scott - you are most welcome here. We have a number of chiropractors, physical therapists, pedorthists, orthotists, nurses, MD's ... from several different countries who contribute to our understanding as well as being here to learn. We have even had some threads on some controversial chiropractic topics! (see Subluxation: The curse of Chiropractic )
