Hello. I wonder if anyone is able to give me any advice on working in Canada with a Scottish BSc in podiatry. I understand that regulations differ depending on location and wonder if anyone can offer any further guidance?

    thanks for any replies :)

We are looking for a podiatrist in rural Nova Scotia. Check out our ad. There is a link there to go to the college to see if your program is an approved program to belong to the regulatory college. If it is and you are interested specifically in rural Nova Scotia, send me an e-mail and we can discuss.

  4. Hello, are you still inquring about job offers in Canada? Each province has different regulations and requirements based on the podiatry program. I am a graduate from Brighton and with a PgCert Theory in Podiatric Medicine from GCU. Graduation from an accredited college in the UK would allow you to work in the provinces: Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, Nova Scotia; with exception of writing license exam in Ontario only (I believe). There are two programs that you may enter under the Federal government of Canada.
please refer to college of podiatrists of manitoba (COPOM)- copom.org and winnipegfootclinic.com for information and email.
    thanks Amar
