I'm actually a community nurse, but am looking for some opinion and inspiration for some wound management.
We often get patients with small but stubborn pressure ulcers on their lateral malleolus.
Often our off loading options are limited, as any boot could result in being a trip hazard over night.
We don't have easy access to podiatry felt, although we can get some from our hospital Pods. Shame it's not on Prescription.
Does anyone have any success in healing these troublesome wounds? And willing to share practice?
Thanks all :)
