Hi I am a physiotherapist in Nottingham England. this site was recommended by a podiatry colleague. I am interested to know if anyone has found/looked for an association between subtalar joint mobility/stiffness and "plantar fasciitis". a recent article (august 2009) looked at the effect of mobilising this with good results (Journal of orthopaedic and sports physical therapy). but as physios we don't measure it but compare feel of lateral glide of calcaneus on talus with non symptomatic side and if we/or the patient perceives a difference will mobilise it.
