I once had a patient who presented with bad foot problems. I asked her do you wear high heels?. Of course not she said, which i knew was not the truth. After a while of her not taking any notice of me, i made her an appointment at the S.M.A.E. When faced with an orthopedic surgeon, who had a bedside manner and a Harley street practice. He then asked her the same question, do you wear high heels?. At the denial he gently took her by the hand and said Madam you are a liar!. You know what? she took it from him. And we had no more problems with her.

Goes to prove what a posh accent and a bedside manner can do for you!
