    I'm thinking what could these looped shock absorption structures do that an ordinary cushions soling wouldn't. It seems possible that increased shear in the saggital plane is the main thing. I would want to stay out of the mud though!

    I finally got to check a pair of these shoes out. The "cells" are pretty flimsy and I can't see them doing a lot.
