Results: (Motion control shoes significantly (p < .05)) ... reduced ... medial longitudinal arch (MLA) deformation, and increased sagittal plane forefoot to rearfoot range of motion ... (compared to neutral and cushioned shoes)

How can both occur at the same time?, mark

Does this mean that reduced peak rearfoot eversion and increased rearfoot eversion excursion occur at the same time? If so the increase in the latter would be an increase in 'peak rearfoot inversion'?
