    Hi,
New poster here! Love the site though!
At the moment I am looking to purchase a treadmill for my private practice. Just wondering if anyone has recommendations for this. What I'm looking for is product names and possible dimensions of functional treadmills for a room which isn't huge. Are full guard rails essential/required? Practice is in the Melbourne area. Thanks!!!

    Hi podtiger,

    :welcome: to Podiatry Arena.

You may have more replies if you repost your question in either of the following Pod' Arena forums:
Biomechanics, Sports and Foot orthoses or Practice Management.

I used the Arenas search facility (top of the home page) 'treadmills' a few lively debates came up. Here is one which may interest you:

:welcome: Pod Tiger good to have another Aussie on board. I have not checked out the other treadmill info on here but ebay can have some at times much cheaper than I have seen elsewhere.
I still have a treadmeill made here in Melbourne 15 years or more ago, has recently got very unwell, the only problem was it would not go slow enough for older folks to walk on:deadhorse:
There are times when one is trying to pick up asymmetry in older folks and I could not use it.
Perhaps make sure of speeds, inclines etc that you require before purchasing;)
    Good Luck
Add your flag ;) then it can be easy to answer some future queries.

    Cheers
