    Hi

    New to this forum thanks for any replies in advance.
    I had a big toe fusion two years ago. All seemed to be going well until two weeks ago when two bumps appeared near the fusion site. Xray showed these are screw heads that have gravitated. The fusion itself appears fine but I am now getting symptoms around the joint, inflammation and pain. I'm thinking it might be gout as I get this or as a result of the screws themselves pushing on nerves etc.Should I get the screws removed?Anyone else had similar?
