    Greetings,

Just wondered if anybody has used the Voroscope (www.voroscopes.co.uk).
Thought it might be quite useful for home visits as it provides illumination and magnification from a battery pack. I believe the new model provides 15000 lux illumination. And the magnification (say 1.75x) may reduce craning your neck to see what you are doing (even in the clinic).

    Any comments gratefully received.

    Regards,

    Graeme.

I have used a Petzyl head torch for years. Focusable beam adjustable angle, comfortable to wear, runs on rechargeable AA cells (3 of) and burns for hours only weighs a little and only costs about $A 70.

I've used a Petzl headlamp for years as well. Use a quartz halogen bulb (£5) and it works even better! Shortens battery life tho'.
