Great, until those tubes in the sole get full of mud.

You heard of these Simon? I'll admit they are new to me - was asked about them literally this morning. Website gives little away, and the PC I'm on at the mo doesnt have sound enabled so I can't get much from the video either

No. But interesting design not sure how the tubes would respond to anterior posterior shear. I guess the are trying to create a sole with high levels of elastic recoil?

Seems to be the thing with Swiss Engineering types to re-invent the shoe becuase it´s all been wrong before.

Ian did the person who asked this morning have a pair that you could see or was thinking about buying ?

ps good luck with the diss for you Masters

Looks OK for running in a straight line. Not sure I'd want to do much side stepping in them. Also. if the shore hardness of all of the "cloudtec" bits are the same, is there not going to be excessive shear at certain points more than others. So if one section fails, the whole shoe fails, with exception of perhaps the centre line of the forefoot. I suppose that is not terribly different to the Nike trainers with the springs.

I like the design and asthetics though

    Mike,

The person who asked me was a Consultant I work with who in turn had been asked about them by one of his patients. I haven't seen a pair no - I'd not heard of them until 8am this morning.

On have just posted this teaser on Twitter. Presumably in reference to the Olympics.
