Olympic Gold!!

Just found out that one of the athletes that I treated with foot orthoses a year ago for a foot injury who is now competing in the Beijing Olympics won a gold medal in her event. How cool is that?! Don't think that will happen too many times in my lifetime! Golden!!

Michael Phelps winning his 8th gold medal. It was amazing.

 

Seeing Nick Willis medal in the 1500 - its been a long time since the Black singlet has been in a track final, and even longer since a medal has been won on track too!!

It was 3am here in NZ when raced and I couldn't get back to sleep after watching it - bit tired today!

 

I like all the ladies beach volleyball.

I was so inspired I decided to try my own Olympic event in the playground. Grazed knees followed & my back flip was awarded nil points. :boohoo:

 

I really like women's beach volleyball. It's shaping up to be an exciting finals.

 

I just watched a reply of the USA v China final of this ... it was a bloody good game.

 

I'm enjoying the sour grapes from our friends down under!
