    Foot Ankle & Rehabilitation Clinics (FARC) currently has a terrific opportunity for either a graduate or experienced podiatrist at our Tasmanian clinics, primarily located in Launceston.

    We are Tasmania's premier foot and ankle clinic having just been endorsed as the only podiatry clinic to provide services to the Tasmania Institute of Sport athletes.

    Services we provide:
    * Full spectrum of foot/ankle orthoses prescription including, CFO, AFO and prefabricated devices.
    * Computer Biomechanical Anlaysis
    * Extracorporael shockwave therapy (ECSWT)
    * Bike set-up and orthoses
    * Lower Limb Tendon rehabilitation
    * Laser treatment for fungal nails
    * Dry needling
    * Sports Podiatry
    * Regular Footcare
    * Diabetes/Vascular/Wound management

    While we have a musculoskeletal focus we essentially attempt to see everything and do it well. Evidence based practice underpins everything we do.

    Full reception support is provided. Regular continuing education is provided by current clinical director and Podiatrists. We also arrange external CPD sessions/seminars. Past presenters have been Simon Bartold of Bartold Biomechanics and Dr. Paul Coneely who has delivered mobilisation and dry needling courses.

    Remuneration is dependant on your qualifications and experience, but includes a car, laptop and IPad for work. These can be made available for private purposes. We do provide financial assistance for those relocating from interstate. For the right overseas candidate we may consider visa sponsorship.

    Launceston is a thriving city with a population of 100,000. It is well serviced by Jetstar, Virgin and Qantas with direct flights to Melbourne, Adelaide and Sydney. Melbourne is a short 45 minutes flight away.

    For more information on our clinic and position please visit our website at www.farc.com.au or contact Jason the clinical director at j.cook@farc.com.au 0419136802
