10 days ago, rolled my right ankle, sustained avulsion fracture non displaced , of my right 5th metatarsal. Initially, it was painful, though not painful enough to take prescribed pain medication. I have no swelling now, have been given a boot and crutches, told to be NWB. I do walk on the inside of my foot without the boot, on the occasional bathroom trip, with no pain.
