When performing a vascular assessment on a patient without neuropathy would it be recommended to perform an ABI only? and would you only progress to perform a TBI if media wall calcification is suspected?

I am under the impression that the use of TBI has proven to be more sensitive in determining the presence of peripheral neuropathy?

    regards

You would consider a TBI when you expected artirial calcification, not neuropathy
