    This is such a load of marketing @!#*. Addidas is replacing 3d printed running shoes with.............a different type of 3d printed running shoes. 3d printing has always been an umbrella term for multiple manufacturing techniques. Talk about the material property difference but calling it 4D just winds me up. Sorry, feeling grumpy today.

    For those of us in the sports world this is something we have been expecting.
    We saw 3D printed bike cockpits made using titanium in this years Tour de France.
    We use new materials and processes frequently to improve sports products.
    This is one of those attempts where money is being spent to develop new products that will influence many other produces to come later. It may have a way to go still but there is obviously a lot of money being spent.
