    Anyone have any thoughts on advertising on gumtree? :dizzy:

    mmmmm....my experience of selling things on gumtree are not good (selling household goods and partner's cars). Too many timewasters and folk not showing up, etc. So not really worth it I don't think.....

    Advertising on Gumtree sounds a tad like clutching at straws. It's primarily regarded as a site to buy and sell 2nd hand goods and possibly to look for a cleaner etc. Would you look on there to find a dentist?
    Who are your target market? Will they be Gumtree users? What info/image do you wish to convey? Do you have a good website? How about using linked in and linking to other health practitioners in your area who may be sources of referral?

    I have tried Gumtree and after a while on there...zero response

    Go with google or at a push yell

    Good points, Helen. If you are after an easy way to get started with online presence, a quality facebook site with photos, logos and regular updates is the way to go.
