Hello everyone,

I am looking for any advice anyone may have for me!
I am planning to move to NZ (hopefully to stay for a considerable period of time) in the August of 2018.
I have only just started looking in to the process of visas ect, but I know next to nothing about the process of applying to the NZ Podiatry board or anything else I would need to do to allow me to work out in NZ.
My main areas of interest are in MSK and paediatrics which looks to be well established in NZ as far as I have seen!
How much notice would be expected to give a potential future employer for me to start work around August 2018, as I presume clinics that are advertising now would be wanting someone in considerably sooner than this?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Apply for a few and just say that you are not available until August next yr .... you never know what might happen. .. at least you will get a feel for it.
Start making contacts now --> they will pay off.

 

Also contact PodiatryNZ and put an advert on there website that you looking for work from August next yr.

 

I would strongly suggest you contact the Board to establish what you will need to do to meet the requirements for NZ registration. If you a serious about moving out, start the process for registration + get your APC (from April 1st 2018) and then you will walk into a job easily :)
