Hi everyone, I've been practising as a podiatrist for the past 2 years in Australia however I'm now taking two years to go travelling. I was wondering if anyone had any advice regarding AHPRA renewal when I come back, or if I should continue to stay on the register while I'm away. I'm also an international applicant from Ireland and I dont know if I need to get accredited by ANZPAC again either. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you.

Have a look at the AHPRA regulations on return to practice after a two year absence. How onerous do you think they are? If you do not think they are, then you may not want to stay registered.
