I had an ankle avulsion fracture 6 months ago. Dr said the best thing to do is walk on it and gave me a boot. I wore the boot for about a week until I could bear weight on it again. My ankle is still swollen and hurts a lot, pain is widespread. Is this normal? I'm 60 if that matters.
