Here is a tongue-in-cheek formguide of the speakers at the conference in Sydney over the past few days:

HOWARD DANANBERG: Exceptional overall campaigner. Interesting and motivational but ultimately offered a presentation that only served as a teaser to entice people to his seminars where all would be revealed. Disappointing this time, but his dismissal of rocker-bottom shoes almost made up for it.
PHILLIP VASYLI: A proud Bentley-driving businessman/podiatrist who talked up his success. Represents a value bet - always, always.
PAUL TINLEY: A Mini-driving performer who is proudly dressed by Target. Humourous, interesting and provocative. Challenged podiatrists to think, and he succeeded (just like he did at CSU). Deserves to be heard more often.
JENNY MCCONNELL: Sensational. Informative, relevant, motivational and open. The end of her presentation left all with warm buns, which makes it essential to see her during the winter.
PAUL CONNEELY: Talented performer who looked in need of a run. Approachable, practical, interesting and handed out information, which was an added bonus. Worth seeing again, please.
ROBYN GANT: An attractive type who was only just pipped by warm-hands Jenny. Offered a lot of relevant information in a clinically-relevant way. Approachable and popular - too popular because someone always had her ear. Would loved to have talked with her more about plantar fascial tears. What was her website again ...
DAVID WONG: Flame-haired type who started nervously but finished powerfully. Promising. Do more of it, David.
JOSHUA BURNS: Champion in the making. Meets all the early criteria to be a champion and seems like a decent bloke, too. Well done.
TONY DUFFIN: Offered good information with a focus on clinical findings and treatment. Prepared to offer gems from his own clinical experience, which could be construed as putting his head on the chopping block. Good all-rounder who should return.
FINAL TIPS: Warm-hands Jenny (Note to self: remember to sit next to a woman next time I see her ...) was the outstanding performer, followed by Robyn Gant and Paul Conneely.
Apologies to Stef, Martin, Paul Fleet, David, Lin, Paul Bours and Michael as I missed your presentations.
Congratulations to the conference organisers. Just next time, if you could print out hard copies/CDs of presenter's slides and give them to delegates.
