Is it important that a footcare specialist/ Podiatist/ Chiropodist
to register and become a member of any Association?

    Dear Charity,
I can't speak for Canada, where I believe the legislation is different in each Province, but in UK no practitioner has to join any Professional Body. What you do need, however, is insurance to practice. If you want to practice as a Chiropodist/Podiatrist in UK you must be registered with the Health Professions Council

lI would suggest you go back your training organisation for advice on this.

    regards
