A R Shaws' Air Jordan Documentary takes an indept look at the Air Jordan shoes from a street and historical point of view. Book and video are premiered later this month. Viewing both video does give an interesting contrast in perspective. This all the more relevant since the driving force of 'trainers' is fashion and not the sport. Beno Nigg is not entirely independent and has as much an axe to grind as any party with a vested interest.

    What say you?

I just have a problem with shoe sales people pushing the MBT indiscriminately to one and all. One of my patients 74yo M has Parkinsons, tends to accerelate forwards and has some inversion/supinatory spasms causing lateral forefoot overload. Foot Solutions sold him a pair of these, fell twice wearing them, thankfully no harm done. Now he will only wear them in long narrow hallways with even surfaces just to work on his balance (most of the time he wears his New Balance walkers with orthotics.
